Data controller

What we process
- Enquiry data. Name, company, email, telephone and what you told us about the project.
- Client contact data. Names and contact details of the people we deal with at a client, held for the life of the relationship.
- Commercial records. Orders, specifications, invoices and shipping documents, which are business records containing some personal data.
- Visitor records. Name and company of people visiting the factory, kept for safety and insurance.
- Technical data. Web server logs holding IP address, user agent and page requested.
Lawful bases
Enquiry data is processed on legitimate interests, being the answering of a business enquiry. Client and commercial records are processed to perform a contract and, for invoices and customs documents, to meet legal obligations under Italian tax and export law. Visitor records rest on legitimate interests in site safety.

Confidentiality of client work
Designs, lasts, patterns and specifications belonging to a client are treated as confidential and are never shown to another client or published, including on this website. That is why no client marks appear anywhere on this site.
Who else sees data
Our accountants, our freight forwarder and customs agent, and the company hosting this site. Component suppliers see only what a purchase order requires. None of them may use the data for their own purposes.
Transfers outside the EU
Where we ship to a client outside the European Union, shipping and customs documents necessarily go with the consignment. There is no other routine transfer of personal data outside the EU.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure where we are not required to keep the record, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. We reply within thirty days. You may also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

This site sets no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.
